Estelle Gassmann’s products and objects tell of urban carelessness and are at the same time a poetic-surreal homage to the garden culture of times gone by.

They are characterised by a passionate interest in the provocative encounter of the most diverse materials and motifs. They also reveal a designer’s obsessive attention to detail, which sometimes takes place at the extreme limits of what is possible within production processes.

The resulting aesthetic is based on a selection of chance discoveries. One has the feeling of pausing in the fragility and transience of the material and the forms.

A curious look at the trivial: gentle and challenging. A touching of the beauty of the inconspicuous. Different views on the unused aesthetics of everyday life.

Solitary sceneries become a serial product for everyday use and retain the individuality of a unique piece.
